An armed man was arrested at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. He had a semi-automatic rifle, handgun, and 90 rounds of ammunition with him.
Bryan Moles, 43, of Edinboro, Pennsylvania checked into the Trump International Hotel at around 1 a.m. and was arrested shortly thereafter. He was charged with carrying a pistol without a license and possession of unregistered ammunition.
The D.C. Police and U.S. Secret Service responded based on information from the Pennsylvania State Police that Moles had made threatening remarks. The Pennsylvania authorities contacted the D.C. Police and U.S. Secret Service at around 12:30 a.m. with a description of Moles and his vehicle.
The police did not have enough information to charge Bryan Moles in connection with the threat itself at the time of the initial press conference today.
